About Oonagh Shanley Toffolo and that awful pay per view show:
The producer contacted me and asked me to put her in touch with Ms. Toffolo. In good faith I did, and the producer and a crew interviewed her. She was paid what everyone on that show was paid, 70 pounds.
When asked to participate in a seance, Ms Toffolo was very adamant when she said: I do not do that sort of thing, it's nothing I am able to do. (She is NOT a seance person and never has been).
Well you can imagine her horror and misery when every British tabloid ADVERTISED her as a major participant in this ridiculous thing.
She was used and then misrepresented. Her likeness and name was used to promote a "show" that she did not participate in and would not profit from. It was just awful. If you saw the program, you would have seen that she had nothing whatsoever to do with the seance.
And I feel badly about innocently making the connection.
As far as "puff piece" goes, well, again you are entitled to your opinion, but I can say with all honesty that Oonagh is a very kind and special woman with tremendous integrity and an extraordinary gift as a doctor of Oriental Medicine. She is truly remarkable. She treated Diana for free for many years.
She deserved better treatment than the way the press treated her.
Thanks for allowing me to set the record straight.

This is a general observation and was not specifically about your own particular efforts. It refers to the lack of any convincing evidence whatsoever, regardless of source be it MUFON, the Disclosure Project, yourself or anyone else in the UFO field. I never suggested that you had, or claimed to have, tangible evidence - you obviously haven't, which I would suggest is not much of a result after your "20 years of hard work". I realize absence of evidence is not evidence of absence, but until the UFO community come up with something that meets acceptable standards of evidence it is a good working hypothesis, and like any such, liable to revision.

Again, my comment "lots of speculation and anecdotes" refers to so-called UFOlogy in general. Speculation is all that can be offered, no matter how sincere the researcher, in the light of the aforementioned total lack of evidence. The photos that have been posted on the web and published in various books are not up to the job, and are too easily concocted. See http://www.skeptic.com/UFO-Pages/UFO-Intro.htm. All that is really left are eye-witness accounts, which are prey to many problems including the fallibility of human perception, bias of the observers etc. All you have is anecdotes which do not meet any reasonable standard of evidence.

The fact that you have "discredited" listings has nothing to with my expressed opinion. I did indeed look through your site, despite your impression otherwise, which is obviously the product of much effort - effort that, again in my opinion, would have been better directed elsewhere.

The only thing for which I could apologize is the juxtaposition of the above mentioned general remarks immediately following the reference to your site. I shall amend the page accordingly to avoid any further confusion such as you experienced.

I shall also add a note following the observation " Right, a "serious study" that includes reports of flying hamburgers. Maybe Hatch needs to get out more." in light of your comments.

As you seem to be encouraging people to listen to anything spiritual and positive I've said, but are implying I don't have the "right" to let them know about the mountain of evidence I continue to find laced all through modern culture, I think I have the "right" to respond to your post.

Who are you? I've revealed my full name, where I live, my email, and my age. Why not share something about how you came to think these things you think? I have detailed my experiences because I am devoted to telling the truth, so I can go on and on and never have to worry about tripping over a lie, because I am not lying. I am an innocent person who stumbled across a horrifying truth, and frankly, I just don't understand how people like you and Wes can continue to try to distract people away from learning about it (as a way to empower ourselves against continuing to be victims of it). I live in a country that provides me with enough money to get by, and I have a supportive family member who provides us with shelter. I am certain I've made a good choice because my children are healthy and happy, and now I have a real chance at helping fix the world.

That's why I DO always include a few reminders about positive methods of coping, because I don't want people to get stuck on the shock of it, or drown in hopelessness after opening themselves to seeing the truth for themselves. You and Wes really seem to not even want people to learn the truth!

But, again, if you can explain in great detail your life story, your opinions will sound less like pure propaganda disguised as "positive" spirituality.

I'm starting to collect these sorts of comments, from people like you, about the information I am working to make available to everyday people who are suffering and scared and confused, and who deserve REAL answers. And I am noticing a pattern, which is not hard to spot. Here is what one man said about my assertions about Julia Caesar:

Well that's 18 months down the toilet. It gets better, "Brandt, an independent researcher from Vernon, British Columbia, theorizes that a highly-organized cult is behind the global fraud, consisting of devoted members who believe they are the direct descendants of nobility who survived the 10,000 B.C.E. destruction of the lost continent of Atlantis..." For her, research obviously means making up any old bullocks. Brandt may be in for a long wait - but then no doubt she can blame the fiendish Atlantean conspiracy for that."

He is only saying I am wrong (and being rude). He is not saying why, or even one reason why it can't be so.

One well-known author told me that common sense should guide me to stop my work immediately and find a new area of study. When I politely asked why I should stop when I was finding so much evidence of a hidden truth (his own books claim to be revealing the truth that all of the Bible is just recycled Egyptian myths so we should set the Bible aside and forget about it all while worshiping other Atlanteanish symbols) he told me that he knew of no scholar, contemporary or historical, that had ever come to the conclusion that Jesus was based on Lucius Caesar.

Hmm. Funny, but that could also be evidence that a cult trying to conceal that fact has simply and effectively controlled the media and publishing and academia for a very long time.

So you can mimic Wes all you want, but from the emails I'm receiving, even though I haven't figured out how to explain it all perfectly, or stay completely calm why revealing facts about blood sacrifices and child sex rituals, I know my honesty is valued by a growing number of people.

Why tell people to look away from the truth unless you don't want them to see?"
